Although ARTifacts is a small gallery, it houses an astonishing collection
of fine art. Artist Tommy Mathis opened the gallery to showcase his own
work and soon added the work of noted artists from coast to coast.

At any given time there are a couple of dozen artists represented in this
chic gallery located in the Shops of English Village in Florence, Alabama.

"My clients come from all over the United States. I change all the
collections several times a year and keep the walls fresh with new work from great artists. Every work is original, mostly in oil or acrylic, framed and
ready to install in your home, office, or business. We keep traditional and
contemporary work on canvas, art glass, some sculpture and gift items.
There is something for every décor and budget."

ARTifacts is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10AM to 5PM. Tommy paints in the gallery several days a week. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for browsing, listening to current jazz and visiting with the artist.
